5.5 mm Pedicle Screw Instrument Set
Dedicated instruments for posterior pedicle preparation, screw placement, rod positioning and construct tightening.
PLIF, or Posterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion, provides direct posterior access for neural decompression and interbody support. The procedure helps restore spinal alignment, enhance segmental stability and support reliable lumbar fusion.
Posterior fixation for lumbar alignment and segmental stability.
Interbody support designed for posterior lumbar fusion.
The system supports posterior thoracolumbar and lumbar fixation according to surgical planning.
The PLIF solution is intended for posterior lumbar interbody fusion procedures in the treatment of lumbar degenerative diseases, spondylolisthesis, spinal stenosis, instability and selected deformities.
The PLIF PEEK Cage features a large graft window, bone-like elastic modulus and radiopaque markers designed to support fusion, maintain intervertebral height and restore physiological spinal alignment. Used with dedicated insertion instruments and posterior pedicle screw fixation, the system supports accurate implantation and immediate segmental stability.
Cage geometry is designed to support intervertebral positioning and disc-height restoration.
Posterior screw-and-rod fixation supports reliable segmental stabilization.
PEEK construction supports postoperative imaging assessment with visible radiopaque markers.
The implant and instrument combination supports controlled cage placement and construct fixation.
A coordinated posterior lumbar fusion solution combining pedicle screw fixation, dedicated surgical instruments and PLIF interbody cages.
Dedicated instruments for posterior pedicle preparation, screw placement, rod positioning and construct tightening.
A complete instrument configuration for lumbar posterior fixation using a 6.0 mm spinal rod system.
Posterior screw-and-rod fixation designed to support spinal alignment restoration and stable lumbar fixation.
A radiolucent posterior lumbar cage with a graft window and radiopaque markers for implantation assessment.
The PLIF procedure provides direct posterior decompression and interbody fusion to restore spinal stability, relieve neural compression, restore disc height and support long-term fusion with posterior fixation.
A posterior midline approach is performed to expose the affected lumbar segments. The paraspinal muscles are carefully retracted to provide clear visualization while preserving the surrounding soft tissues.
Pedicle screws are accurately inserted into the vertebrae under fluoroscopic guidance. The screws establish a stable posterior foundation for interbody fusion and final construct fixation.
A laminectomy and bilateral facetectomy are performed to decompress the neural structures. The affected intervertebral disc is accessed through the posterior approach while relieving pressure on the spinal canal and nerve roots.
The degenerated disc is removed and the endplates are prepared for fusion. Bone graft material and an interbody cage are inserted into the disc space to restore disc height and promote solid fusion.
The rods are connected to the pedicle screws and securely tightened to restore spinal stability. Final fluoroscopic verification confirms implant position, alignment and overall fixation before wound closure.
Posterior decompression, cage insertion and pedicle screw fixation are coordinated as one lumbar fusion workflow.
The solution integrates posterior decompression, interbody support and rigid posterior fixation within one coordinated surgical system.
The posterior approach provides direct access to the affected spinal canal, nerve roots and intervertebral disc.
The PLIF cage supports restoration of intervertebral height and physiological lumbar alignment.
Pedicle screws and connecting rods provide stable posterior fixation for the treated lumbar segment.
The cage graft chamber provides space for bone graft material to support the lumbar fusion process.
Dedicated cage insertion and posterior fixation instruments support an efficient, coordinated surgical workflow.
Implants, instruments and compatible configurations can be supplied together according to distributor or hospital requirements.
