The XC Medico Distal Tibial Nail is a premium orthopedic implant engineered for the effective stabilization and reconstruction of tibial fractures. The distal end of the main nail features a streamlined, flat design. This ergonomic profile facilitates easier insertion into the medullary cavity, reducing insertion torque and minimizing potential damage to the surrounding bone structure.
The system incorporates two angular locking screws at the proximal end. These screws are critical for preventing rotation and displacement of the fracture segment, ensuring rigid fixation during the healing process.
Engineered with a special anatomical curvature, the nail matches the natural geometry of the tibia. This ensures the main nail is optimally positioned within the medullary canal, reducing cortical stress.
To address the challenges of distal fixation, the nail utilizes three intersecting angle locking screws at the distal end. This multi-planar configuration provides maximum support and purchase in the distal bone fragment.
