The XC Medico Subtalar Screw Instrument Set is a specialized orthopedic solution known as the "Foot Injury Savior." Designed primarily for Subtalar Arthroereisis, this system effectively blocks excessive pronation of the subtalar joint, restoring the healthy arch of the foot. It is the gold standard for treating pediatric flexible flatfoot (pes planovalgus) and adult posterior tibial tendon dysfunction (PTTD).
Our subtalar screws are manufactured from imported TC4 Titanium Alloy, offering superior performance, high strength, and excellent biocompatibility. The conical, anatomical design ensures a stable fit within the sinus tarsi.
• Color-Coded Sizing: Available in different anodized colors (Gold, Blue, Green, Purple) for rapid intraoperative size identification.
• Cannulated Design: Allows for precise insertion over a guide wire, ensuring accurate placement.
• Self-Tapping Threads: Reduces surgical time by cutting their own path into the bone, minimizing tissue damage.
The Exclusive Instrument Set is ergonomically designed to streamline the implantation process. Housed in a durable sterilization tray, the kit includes specific tools to fix the subtalar joint and restrict excessive movement.
✔ Trial Sizers: For accurate determination of the implant size.
✔ Cannulated Screwdrivers: Ergonomic handle for controlled insertion.
✔ Guide Wires: For initial positioning in the tarsal sinus.
✔ Removal Tools: Ensures reversibility of the procedure if needed.
By making a minimally invasive incision into the tarsal sinus, the system reconstructs the arch of the foot without affecting its natural development. It is widely indicated for:
Faster Recovery: The minimally invasive approach reduces trauma to surrounding tissue, leading to less postoperative pain and quicker rehabilitation.
Immediate Correction: As shown in the "After Adjustment" diagram, the implant instantly corrects the collapse of the talus, restoring healthy foot position.
Customization: We offer OEM & ODM services with color customization options to meet specific clinical or branding needs.
